Selenite Physical Care Rules:

• Keep it Dry: Selenite is highly water-soluble. Prolonged exposure to moisture, water, or high humidity can cause it to dissolve, erode, or become chalky.

• Handle with Care: Due to its soft, fibrous, and fragile nature, avoid dropping it and handle it gently to prevent breaking.

• Avoid Harsh Cleaning Agents: Do not use cleaning products or chemicals on selenite. 

How to Clean and Maintain Selenite:

• Dusting: Use a dry, soft cloth, a makeup brush, or a soft, dry toothbrush to remove dust from crevices.

• Spot Cleaning: If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth (not wet) to wipe it, and dry it immediately.

• Removing Debris: Use a wooden or plastic tool (like a sharpened dowel) to gently remove debris from crevices.

• Avoid Direct Sunlight: Long-term exposure to direct sunlight can make it look dull and cause it to lose its luster.
